My name is Pierre Ouellet and I am a Canadian professional paratriathlete. I lost the usage of my legs at the age of 16 after a manoeuvre gone wrong during a motocross competition. My strength, determination, self-confidence and positive attitude are the reason why I was able to overcome any obstacle related to my handicap and it is also the reason why I have succeeded in becoming an international professional triathlon par-athlete. I am presently ranked 5th in the world in triathlon and 1st in aquathlon.
I am also one of the most in-demand professional sports massage therapists in Québec and I have been practicing this profession since 2005. I have also been giving motivational speeches to businesses and students all over the province of Québec for the past three years. My dream is to take part in the RIO 2016 Paralympics, together let's make this dream happen. |
